Industries We Support
We specialise in networks for NHS, Government, Education, enterprise and other complex environments.
Planning a network refresh, migration or improvement? Panacea Consult helps your team turn the requirements into an Extreme Networks design and a practical delivery plan, with experienced engineers supporting the agreed work through testing and handover.
Advice is grounded in daily experience of Extreme Networks platforms, so designs reflect real product capabilities, dependencies and operational trade-offs.
Work directly with senior engineers from scoping through delivery, keeping decisions clear and avoiding hand-offs between sales, design and implementation teams.
Every change is prepared around live operational constraints, with validation, rollback and handover built into the delivery plan.
Panacea Consult is our professional services offering for organisations that need to design, modernise, or migrate Extreme Networks infrastructure. It covers everything from early-stage strategy and architecture through to hands-on delivery and handover, led by senior engineers from start to finish.
What makes it different is straightforward. The engineers you speak to are the engineers who do the work. No hand-offs, no account managers, no layers between you and the people with the answers. Every engagement runs on direct accountability from scoping through to final handover.
Whether you are refreshing a core network, migrating sites or improving an inherited estate, start with a clear plan for what needs to change and what your organisation needs to keep running.
We agree the scope, engineering roles, dependencies and delivery approach before work begins. Design, configuration, testing and implementation are included where agreed, with validation and rollback preparation built into the plan.
That means direct access to senior engineers, faster decisions, stronger accountability, and a level of Extreme focus that generalist partners usually cannot match.
It is a more useful model when the environment is complex and the cost of a bad decision is high.
Start with the network you have, the change you need and the services that must keep running. We review the environment, dependencies and operational constraints, then agree the scope, engineering roles and delivery approach.
Your Project Days cover the work and deliverables set out in that scope. Testing, validation and rollback preparation follow the agreed plan. Documentation and knowledge transfer help your team take over, with project support during the agreed handover period.

What does Panacea Consult cover?
Panacea Consult helps you plan, design, improve and migrate Extreme Networks environments. Work can include architecture and design reviews, configuration, implementation, troubleshooting and optimisation. We agree the activities, engineering roles, deliverables and dependencies for your engagement before work begins.
How is Panacea Consult priced?
Planned work uses our Project Days model. Your price depends on the number of days, the engineering roles required, the mix of remote and on-site delivery, and whether you have an active annual support agreement.
The quote sets out the agreed scope and pricing assumptions. Hardware, licences, subscriptions and manufacturer support are separate. Travel expenses, out-of-hours work, scope changes and time spent resolving readiness issues may also be chargeable under the agreed terms.
What is network design and why does it matter?
Network design is the process of planning how your infrastructure will be structured, how traffic will flow, how devices will connect and how the network will behave under real-world conditions. Good design prevents problems before they occur. Poor design creates them. For organisations running clinical systems, national infrastructure or regulated services, getting the architecture right from the start is not optional.
What is zero touch provisioning?
Zero touch provisioning (ZTP) is a method for automatically configuring network devices when they are first connected, without manual intervention from an engineer. Devices receive their configuration from a central management platform at boot. Panacea designs and deploys ZTP workflows using Extreme Networks tools including ZTP+ and XIQ, which significantly reduces deployment time and eliminates the configuration inconsistencies that occur with manual setup.
What is fabric networking?
Fabric networking is a network architecture that simplifies the way traffic is routed and services are provisioned across a site. Extreme Networks Fabric Connect uses Shortest Path Bridging (SPB) to create a clean, automated network fabric that removes the complexity of traditional VLAN-based designs. It improves resilience, simplifies segmentation and makes large multi-site networks significantly easier to manage.
What is network segmentation and why is it important?
Network segmentation is the practice of dividing a network into separate zones so that traffic from one area cannot flow freely into another. In healthcare, this separates clinical systems from corporate or guest traffic. In government environments, it isolates sensitive data. In enterprise settings, it contains the blast radius of a security incident. Panacea designs segmentation using Extreme fabric architectures and NAC policies to keep access controls enforced consistently without creating operational complexity.
What is network automation?
Network automation refers to using software and pre-defined workflows to handle tasks that would otherwise require manual engineer input. This includes device provisioning, configuration updates, compliance checks and fault remediation. Within an Extreme Networks environment, automation is delivered through tools including Auto-Sense, Fabric Attach and ExtremeCloud IQ. The benefit is a reduction in manual overhead, fewer human errors and a network that is more consistent and easier to scale.
Can Panacea Consult be accessed through G-Cloud?
Yes. Panacea Consult is available through the Crown Commercial Service G-Cloud framework on the Digital Marketplace. Public sector organisations including NHS Trusts, government departments and local authorities can procure our consultancy services directly through the framework without the need for a separate tender process.
How does Panacea approach network migrations?
We plan the migration around your live services, dependencies and agreed change windows. The approach can include staged deployment, validation checkpoints and rollback preparation, as appropriate to the scope and environment.
We agree the test and rollback plan with your team before the change. Required access, licences, vendor support, approvals and technical contacts need to be in place so the work can proceed as planned.
What happens after the project?
Agreed deliverables can include designs, as-built records, change notes, configuration backups and knowledge transfer. Project support continues during the agreed handover period.
Ongoing day-to-day support and SLA-backed operations are provided under a separate support agreement, such as Panacea Care.
